Crunch training at Tirol Lodge

Our Boot Camp lives up to its name! Free workouts with professional fitness coaches, yet another highlight of your Lodge holiday. Our coaches, Theresa and Marcel, are really tough but will occasionally turn a blind eye. Work out, strengthen your muscles or work on your perfect bikini figure. You’re welcome to join the workouts several times weekly, as often as you like.

Biking plus in the Wilder Kaiser

Get to know the cycle paths and mountain bike trails on two wheels. Your chariot awaits at the bike hire, located next to the Tirol Lodge. A total of 350 kilometres of cycle routes and biking paths, suitable for all abilities run along the valleys and up the mountains. The 75 battery recharging stations, ensure that the energy will never run out! Naturally, you can also take your bike on most mountain lifts. So, let’s get those wheels rolling!

Golfing in the Wilder Kaiser

The picturesque 27-hole Wilder Kaiser Golf Course, with its well-laid out fairways, offers both enjoyment and challenges to beginners and golf pros alike. Beginners can join an introductory course and those with a golf proficiency certificate will love the driving range with 25 tees. More experienced players can create their favourite course from the 3 times 9 holes or hone their skills and work on their handicaps with one of the pros from the golf academy. Travel in style from the Lodge to the golf course in the hotel’s own golf cart.

Walking and hiking in Ellmau

A walking or hiking tour is a must when on a summer holiday in Ellmau. You don’t have to be a mountain goat to fully appreciate the beauty of the mountains. No less than nine lifts will take you up to high trails and summit climbs. Your hiking adventure starts at Tirol Lodge with the Hartkaiser cable car, situated next door, and a number of walking trails start and finish at the Hartkaiser mountain station. There is something for everyone, from a gentle afternoon stroll to a long hiking tour. You can easily reach the starting point of your chosen route and return to the Lodge at the end of the day by catching the KaiserJet Walking and Swimming Bus, the Mountain Climber Taxi or the local bus service.

Tip: The bus station is also situated next to the hotel!

Fairy tales and fun at Ellmi’s Magic World

Ascend in the Hartkaiser cable car to 1,555 metres above sea level, in just 7 minutes, where kids can check in at Ellmi’s Magic World at the lift mountain station. Puzzle walks, educational nature paths and an adventure playground will keep the little ones occupied for hours, whilst parents can partake in the ever-popular ‘Chill&Grill’, relaxing on the sun terrace. Ellmi’s Magic World is open daily, 9am until 5pm, from May through to the start of November.

Indoor and outdoor climbing fun in the Wilder Kaiser region

There is no stopping tightrope walkers and climbers in Ellmau. The climbing garden offers a variety of routes on bare rock, suitable for a range of abilities. Should the weather be unsuitable, you can always climb indoors. Ellmau’s climbing wall is particularly impressive. With its 805m2 climbing surface and height up to 16 metres, it’s 100 or so routes ranging in difficulty from 3-10 will leave you breathless. 35 routes can be climber simultaneously, with the boulder route complementing the overall offer.
